LuVerne was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved the Lord with all his heart and shared this with everyone he met. He was a defender for babies and fought for years for their right to life.
He also loved the United States of America and served in the Korean War.
He was a true, loving, giving man who even after death gave to others with his gift of sight so others could see and skin for burn victims.
His words to his family on his last day on earth were form Psalms 118:24. “This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it”.
